The Packaging Commis Chef plays a critical role in the final stage of meal production, ensuring that fresh, ready-to-eat meals are packaged accurately, safely, and efficiently for delivery. Working in a refrigerated environment, this role is responsible for maintaining food quality, following strict food safety standards, and executing packaging processes in alignment with production goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Ability to work in refrigerated rooms
1+ year of high-volume food production, packaging, or warehouse experience
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ lbs
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
NY Food Handler’s Certificate/Card
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience in commissary or large-scale food production kitchens
Ensures accuracy in packaging, labeling, and portioning
Meets production targets in a high-volume setting
Maintains structured, clean, and efficient workspaces
Collaborates effectively across departments
Follows SOPs and maintains operational consistency
Location: East Williamsburg, Brooklyn Facility
Schedule: Monday–Friday & Sunday shifts available starting as early as 6am
