We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to children and individuals with diverse needs. Duties
- Supervise and engage with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, learning, creativity, and social skills.
- Provide safe transportation and supervision during outings or activities outside the home or care facility.
- Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations while following mandated reporting laws to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing tailored caregiving approaches.
- Maintain a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and play while adhering to childcare standards and safety protocols.
Skills
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles.
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and behavior management techniques.
- Strong activity planning skills for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school students.
- Certifications in First Aid and CPR are required; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration.
- Ability to supervise children effectively while fostering independence and positive behavior.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
- Classroom experience or early childhood education background enhances your ability to support developmental milestones effectively.
