Coastland Group is looking to add a Production Assistant to our team!
Job Duties:
· Develop and maintain knowledge of screen-printing processes, including pre-press, printing, finishing, and post-press work.
· Read work orders to determine proper logo and location of screen print.
· Prep and reclaim screens.
· Loading and unloading of screen print machine.
· Remove printed garments from dryer.
· Maintain a clean and organized production area.
· Run pack and fold machine.
· Obtain artwork and format for laser engraving projects.
· Help maintain screen printing equipment.
· Assist with embroidery machines.
· Assist with engraving machine.
· Be able to lift 50 pounds.
· Ship and fulfill orders.
· Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
· Quality control and inspections of printed goods
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Must pay great attention to detail.
· Experience is not necessary, but a plus.
· Be able to stay on your feet for 8+ hours a day.
· Be willing to learn and apply on the job training skills.
· Basic Computer skills.
· Familiarity with Lightburn software is not required, but helpful.
· Able to understand and follow verbal or written instructions with minimal supervision.
· Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
$16.00-18.00 per hour DOE. Full Time with Benefits. Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, & PTO offered.
