Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to security policies.
- Conduct thorough background checks on personnel as part of onboarding or ongoing security assessments.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including medical incidents requiring first aid or CPR, fire alarms, or security threats.
- Perform physical security duties such as patrolling premises, inspecting facilities, and managing secure areas with attention to detail.
- Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents by providing necessary information and support.
- Write detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
- Oversee team management activities when applicable, including coordinating security staff schedules and training sessions.
- Conduct conflict management procedures calmly and professionally to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of current security regulations and ensure all operations comply with legal standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of physical security practices.
- Knowledge of security systems including access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems.
- First aid and CPR certification are highly desirable; ability to respond confidently in emergency situations.
- Background in military service or operational management is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for report writing and documentation purposes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear reports and maintain detailed records.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting when required for equipment or materials handling.
- Familiarity with compliance standards related to security regulations and operational procedures.

Pay: $5,717.06 - $5,885.79 per month
