We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician/ Driver to join our facilities team ASAP .
- You will inspect our properties, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform hands-on repairs to ensure a safe, operational, and presentable environment for all staff and visitors.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical panels.
- Conduct minor interior/exterior repairs like fixing door locks, patching drywall, and painting.
- Test and ensure the functionality of facility safety systems, such as fire alarms and emergency lighting.
- Assist with basic groundskeeping, trash removal, and exterior facility upkeep.
- Manage maintenance logs and coordinate with external contractors for major repairs.
- General everyday upkeep: Vacuuming, moping keeping the shop in an orderly manor.
- Pick up material from our Vendors, go to the store for shop supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on building maintenance or trades experience (plumbing, carpentry, electrical).
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools.
- DRIVERS LICSENSE AND CAR REQUIRED- you will be asked to pick up material from our suppliers (along with other errands as needed) - gas milage will be reimbursed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
