American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a blended Med/Surg night shift position at a Pathways to Excellence designated facility in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Blended Med/Surg unit serving adult patients across Med/Surg, Swing Bed, and PCU levels of care
-
Patient ratios are 1:5 for Med/Surg, 1:5-6 for Swing Bed, and 1:3-4 for PCU depending on acuity and drip status
-
Assignments are balanced by nursing workload and patient acuity level, with supervisors managing PCU assignments for nurses with Med/Surg-only backgrounds

Shift: 12-hour nights, 7 PM – 7 AM

Every other weekend required

Every other holiday required
-
No on-call responsibilities

13-week contract

Active IL RN license required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

BLS certification required
