Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Dual Chief Engineer to lead and oversee the maintenance and operation of complex mechanical, electrical, and industrial systems within a manufacturing or facilities environment. This pivotal role combines strategic management with hands-on technical expertise, ensuring all systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. The ideal candidate will excel in supervising maintenance teams, managing facilities operations, and implementing innovative solutions to optimize performance. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary facilities maintenance teams, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, electrical systems—including high and low voltage equipment—and industrial machinery.
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to plan, schedule, and document maintenance activities effectively.
- Supervise the repair and calibration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical components, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex issues involving HVAC system failures, mechanical breakdowns, or electrical faults using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to high voltage/low voltage systems, industrial safety standards, and environmental policies.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan while managing projects related to facilities upgrades or system installations.
- Review schematics and technical drawings for system repairs or modifications; train team members on new procedures or safety protocols.
- Monitor facilities’ performance metrics; analyze data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in manufacturing or operational processes.
- Manage budgets for maintenance activities; procure parts and services while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Requirements
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or engineering teams within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems—including HVAC system repair—and plumbing systems.
- Strong electrical experience with familiarity in high voltage (HV) and low voltage systems; capable of using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and using CMMS software for maintenance management.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot engineering issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial automation equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations governing industrial environments; committed to maintaining a safe workplace adhering to all relevant standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English; capable of providing clear instructions and documentation.
- Supervising experience managing facilities maintenance teams; leadership skills that motivate staff toward operational excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Mechanical systems repair expertise across various equipment types; familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
