Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient processing of outbound shipments, ensuring that all orders are prepared, packed, and dispatched in a timely manner. Duties
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems and inventory management software
- Pick, pack, and label orders accurately utilizing RF scanners, order pickers, and packing stations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations and international trade requirements for cross-border shipments
- Maintain accurate shipping records, logs, and documentation through data entry in ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP platforms
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries while tracking shipment statuses for timely dispatch
- Conduct inventory counts, stock replenishment, and stocking activities to support warehouse distribution efficiency
- Assist with order fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms, ensuring customer orders are shipped promptly
- Support warehouse operations by participating in order picking & packing activities and maintaining a clean workspace
Experience
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in shipping & receiving operations
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), and inventory management software
- Skilled in using forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations
- Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately
- Excellent data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Prior experience supporting order fulfillment processes within e-commerce or distribution centers is highly desirable
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution principles and inventory control practices

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
