Our Place on Main is looking for an experienced Short Order Cook to join our team! We are a busy breakfast and lunch restaurant looking for a dependable team member who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing quality food and great service to our customers.
The ideal candidate has experience working a grill and fryer, enjoys working as part of a team, and takes pride in preparing fresh, made-to-order meals.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare breakfast and lunch items quickly and consistently
- Operate grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
- Cook eggs, breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers, and lunch specials
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Assist with prep and kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous short order cook or line cook experience required
- Must have experience with breakfast and lunch foods
- Must be comfortable working grill and fryer stations
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
