Duties
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install framing components
- Perform heavy lifting and assist with heavy equipment operation necessary for large-scale marine construction tasks
- Read schematics accurately to ensure precise installation of framing systems according to project specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on framing carpentry
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery relevant to marine construction projects
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence and precision
- Knowledge of construction management principles is a plus for coordinating tasks efficiently on-site
- Experience with restoration projects involving Marine Construction is a benefit
- Demonstrated ability to lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper technique
