We are a Christian preschool located in the Clairemont area. We desire to provide quality Christian education to our children and incorporate the Bible throughout our daily curriculum. We are seeking caring, patient, and enthusiastic teachers who have a calling for teaching preschool-age children about Jesus. Please send us your resume and include a statement of faith.
Applicants must have 12 core units in child development and at least 6 months experience in a preschool or daycare setting.
Minimum Teacher Qualifications:
- Must be seeking to grow and walk with the Lord daily
- Must be a sensitive and mature individual able to relate well to children and adults
- Must hold a minimum of 12 or more units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from an accredited college
- A one-year minimum of teaching experience in a child care center is highly desired
- Must have a vision for the direction and advancement of the preschool
- Must be a team player
- Must have completed mandated child abuse reporter training
- Must have current CPR/First Aid card
- Proof of up to date immunizations
- Valid driver's license or state ID card, and social security card
Teacher responsibilities include:
- Managing a classroom of 7 students
- Attending staff meetings, staff development days, parent meetings, workshops, and meet and greet.
- Assisting the director and staff in parent-school relationships
- Treat each child with gentleness and respect, while meeting the needs of the individual.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
