Squid Lips Cocktail Servers are enthusiastic, engaging and Guest driven to provide an excellent drinking and dining experience. The ideal Cocktail Server ensures that all Guests are provided with prompt, friendly service. They describe menu items, make suggestions, enter orders, deliver food and beverages, process payments, and assist colleagues in all aspects of ensuring Guest satisfaction at Squid Lips.
Responsibilities:
Must be friendly, happy, upbeat, outgoing and positive.
Observant and responsive, alert to Guests’ needs.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Willingness to learn both typical POS and hand held POS devices.
Ability to work effectively within a Team.
Available for Training prior to going on the floor.
Assist Guests in food and beverage selections.
Protect establishment and Guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a full service, high volume establishment.
Some service experience in a bar/pub – or at least one year at a full-service restaurant.
Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
Continuous use of hands, arms, bending, reaching, and twisting.
Ability to carry 35 pounds as needed.
Ability to carry trays as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Reliable transportation required.
