The Golf Operation Team at Worcester Country Club is essential to the success of our team and the first point of contact for arriving members and guests. Team Members should:
- Have immediate availability
- Golf knowledge or experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Key service areas of employment are Driving Range, Golf Cart Fleet, Bag Room, and other outside areas of the golf operation.
- Adhere to the Team Manual outlining the expectations of each service area. Follow daily opening and closing procedures.
- Have an outgoing and friendly personality, a proven team player who enjoys engaging with people.
- Demonstrate good work ethic day to day.
- Be able to work 20-40 hours a week, with a potential for weekends and holidays.
- Need to be comfortable with some shifts starting as early as 5-5:30am in peak summer.
- Be flexible in their work schedule and able to work through October.
- Have the ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds.
- Be comfortable with standing and working outside for long periods of time.
- A valid drivers license is required.
Golf Operations members will earn pooled tips on a daily basis. They will also be granted privileges to use the golf course and practice facility. Team members will also receive staff meals during their shift and will receive a holiday bonus.
