Orono Montessori School is looking for a positive and caring Assistant Teacher. We are a year-round school with infant, toddler, and preschool age classrooms.
Expectations & Responsibilities for the assistant teaching position includes:
- Supervising toddlers to ensuring their well-being and safety
- Assisting teachers in tasks
- Interacting positively with students, co-workers and parents
- Assisting in feeding and diaper changes
- Keeping the physical environment clean and inviting

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of their job, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
About Orono Montessori School
Orono Montessori School was started in 2001. We have four classrooms and serve children between the ages of six weeks and six years. The school is situated on a forested, seven acre plot of land on the Wayzata/Orono border. We offer the children of our school a nurturing place to learn and grow and wish peace, food and happiness to children all over the world every day!
