At Country Villa, people are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and uphold our high standards of resident care. If you are a compassionate leader with long-term care experience, we want you on our team.
The Director of Nursing oversees all nursing operations and provides 24-hour supervision of the Nursing Department. You will coordinate resident care, ensure compliance with physician orders, and maintain high-quality standards according to Federal, State, and facility regulations. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.
Lead and manage all nursing services to ensure quality care
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, monitoring practices and procedures
Coordinate resident care plans in compliance with physician orders and regulations
Participate in admissions decisions and may meet prospective residents
Attend management team meetings to review resident status, staffing, and operations
Ensure compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned
RN license in the state of practice required
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school
Minimum 2 years nursing supervisory experience required
5+ years experience in long-term or acute healthcare preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
