At Just For Kids, our mission is to offer safe, affordable, year round on-site care for children ages 5-12 in the Boise School District. When students are in our care, activities and relationships occur in a healthy, positive and relaxed environment in which well-qualified staff provide personal attention and guidance to each child; All Just for Kids staff members are Boise School District employees and childcare providers have advanced clearances through Idaho Health and Welfare. We have thirteen locations across the District and offer shifts before school (7am – 9:15am), after school (3pm – 6pm), or before and after school.
Work hours may include working 7:00-9:15 a.m. and/or 3:00-5:30 p.m.
District employees will need to complete the online transfer application.
Note: Substitutes and student teachers will complete the classified application.

Please be advised that accepting full-time employment may affect any subsidy for health insurance purchased through the Idaho Health Insurance Exchange.
New-to-District Classified employees may be eligible to receive credit for up to two years’ worth of credit for movement (steps) on the Classified Salary Schedule based on relevant prior work experience. Please complete the top portion of this form and provide it to your previous employer for completion. To qualify, newly hired employees must provide this form, completed by your former employer(s), to Human Resources no later than the date of their fingerprinting and appointment.
