Electric City Hospitality, parent company for The Broken Inn, The Horses Lounge, The Comedy Works and The Parlor at Schenectady Municipal Golf Course is seeking an Executive chef to lead our team.
Duties
- Manage, train and work beside our culinary team
- Menu planning and pricing
- Inventory and supply chain management
- Kitchen scheduling
- Overseeing kitchen equipment and maintenance
- All other administrative tasks related to running the kitchen
Qualifications
- Previous Executive chef or head chef experience required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques, knife skills, and food preparation methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team.
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
