CDL-A Local Driver – Home Daily

Boone & Grandson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL-A Driver for a local home-daily position hauling municipal solid waste (trash) with an open-top trailer.
Compensation
- 27% of the gross haul
- Pay period: Thursday through Wednesday
- Payday: Every Friday
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Report to the job site by 5:30 a.m.
- If assigned a pre-loaded trailer, report by 5:00 a.m.
- Typical workday ends around 5:00 p.m.
- Home daily
Job Responsibilities
- Hooking up to an empty company open-top trailer.
- Driving to the transfer station where the trailer will be loaded with municipal solid waste (trash).
- Properly tarping and securing the loaded trailer before leaving the transfer station.
- Safely transporting the load to the designated landfill.
- Backing the trailer onto the tipper at the landfill and disconnecting the tractor so the trailer can be unloaded.
- Once the trailer has been emptied, reconnect the trailer to the tractor.
- Returning to the transfer station to pick up the next load and repeating the process throughout the workday.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections while operating safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum of 4 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Experience operating a tractor-trailer with an open-top trailer
- Knowledge of properly tarping and securing loads
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance and reliability
- Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently
