Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture the young minds in our early childhood education program. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and physical development.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques to foster respectful and cooperative attitudes.
- Support children’s emotional well-being by recognizing individual needs and providing appropriate guidance and comfort.
- Conduct assessments of children’s developmental progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable; document findings to inform instruction.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and share strategies for continued growth at home.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare standards at all times.
- Incorporate specialized teaching strategies such as early intervention techniques when relevant to support diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations for daycare and preschool settings.
- Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood development instruction, behavior management, special education, literacy education, math, physical education, and classroom management.
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is required; at least one year of classroom experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, math skills, physical education activities, and social-emotional learning.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures used in early childhood education environments.
- Background in special education or working with children with diverse learning needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families in their child's educational journey.
