What you'll do as: Side Frame Welder
-
Perform welding operations on side frame assemblies and structural steel components
-
Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
-
Prepare materials and components for welding
-
Inspect completed welds for defects
-
Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools
Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in welding operations
-
Ability to interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings
-
Experience in welding structural steel components
-
Knowledge of welding processes and procedures
-
Experience in quality control and inspection
-
**Straight Mig (Overhead and Downhill); Flux (Horizontal)**
- Must pass Plate Test: 3/8” plate, Mig welded in 3G (downhill) position
- Must pass visual inspection
