Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Educate children on basic academic concepts such as numbers, letters, shapes, and colors through interactive activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive social interactions among students.
- Assess and document children's progress and development regularly to tailor instruction to individual needs.
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Experienced in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
- Experience in education administration is an asset for overseeing classroom operations.
- Familiarity with budgeting and strategic planning as it relates to classroom resources and activities is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
