Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing initiatives that promote the company's brand, products, services, and customer relationships. This position works closely with sales, leadership, vendor partners, and suppliers to coordinate marketing campaigns, events, digital communications, and brand management activities.
The ideal candidate is organized, creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a career in marketing while gaining exposure to the electrical distribution industry.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including email campaigns, social media content, newsletters, flyers, and promotional pieces.
- Help maintain and update company websites, social media channels, and digital marketing platforms.
- Coordinate content collection, including project photos, customer success stories, employee highlights, and vendor spotlights.
- Support brand consistency across all marketing and communication efforts.
- Assist with proofreading and editing marketing materials.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Help plan and execute customer events, trade shows, vendor showcases, golf outings, open houses, training sessions, and community involvement initiatives.
- Coordinate event logistics, registrations, promotional materials, and follow-up communications.
- Work with vendor partners and internal teams to ensure successful event execution.
Sales & Vendor Support
- Collaborate with the sales team to create marketing materials that support customer engagement and business development efforts.
- Assist with supplier co-op marketing programs and promotional campaigns.
- Help track marketing opportunities and maintain marketing calendars.
Digital Marketing
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
- Monitor engagement and assist in responding to inquiries when appropriate.
- Support email marketing campaigns and maintain contact databases.
- Assist in gathering marketing analytics and reporting results.
Administrative & Organizational Support
- Maintain marketing assets, promotional inventory, and brand resources.
- Coordinate vendor invoices, sponsorship requests, and marketing budgets as assigned.
- Organize marketing files, photos, and project documentation.
- Support special projects and other marketing initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
- Internship, part-time marketing experience, or relevant coursework is a plus but not required.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is beneficial.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms, or email marketing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, customers, and vendor partners.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to attend company events, trade shows, and customer functions as needed.
- Ability to lift and transport marketing materials and event supplies up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
