Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring a Project Executive to lead large-scale mechanical and data center construction projects in Richmond, VA. This role is built for an experienced construction leader who can manage multimillion-dollar projects, mentor teams, drive operational consistency, and support long-term business growth.
A Day in the Life
- Lead and manage multimillion-dollar projects, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction
- Supervise and mentor teams of Project Managers and Engineers
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and best practices
- Ensure consistency across estimating, cost management, forecasting, scheduling, and execution
- Drive communication across project teams and leadership groups
- Manage project cash flow, including billings and collections
- Participate in strategic planning and operational leadership meetings
- Support long-term operational growth and client development initiatives
What We Are Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in the construction industry
- Proven leadership managing projects exceeding $10M in scope
- Strong expertise in MEP project management
- Experience leading teams of 3+ Project Managers or Engineers
- OSHA 30-hour certification and familiarity with safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving and business decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and within fast-paced team environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with mission critical, data center, healthcare, industrial, or large commercial construction preferred
