Geneva Warehousing & Distribution LLC is a dynamic and rapidly growing logistics company that prides itself on delivering exceptional products and services to our customers. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and locate items
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines for forklift operation
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other equipment
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient workflow and accurate order fulfillment
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role
- Valid forklift certification or license
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate heavy equipment in a safe manner
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Bilingual required (English, Spanish)
- Stand up Forklift Raymond experience required
