PACE offers orientation and placement on a referral list for potential Personal Support Workers (PSW) who would like to find work assisting adult consumers and/or children with developmental disabilities. We are looking for reliable, dependable individuals who want to make a difference.
PSWs who are interested will attend an orientation that would assist them in understanding the requirements of being a PSW. Orientation consists of understanding the PSW program, qualifications and the process on how to be a PSW. You must attend the orientation and clear the required background checks to be placed on our referral list.
Work can include activities of daily living tasks that will assist consumers to increase their independence. You may also be supporting someone out in the community. Wage is determined by the Employer based upon several requirements.

We will give to the Employers potential PSW names after the PSWs complete the orientation. The more dependable, available and willing to do various tasks you are the more likely you will be hired from this list. PACE Inc. Center for Independent Living is not the employer.
