American Traveler is hiring a School-based Occupational Therapist in Colorado for a 13-week contract serving a PK–5th grade student population across a multi-school district.

School-based setting with travel between multiple school campuses within the district
-
Serves a PK–5th grade student population
-
Average caseload of approximately 45 students
-
Day shift, Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (7.5 hours/day)

All schools operate on a 4-day school week with no student services on Fridays
-
Fridays are available for remote administrative work or professional development
-
Active Colorado OT license required — license required if applicable

Colorado CDE (Department of Education) license required

Current BLS certification required

District employs 7.5 FTE OTs and 1 COTA, providing a well-supported team environment

Monthly team meetings with a collaborative, supportive culture

School-based support professionals (SSPs) are given a high degree of trusted autonomy

Mileage between school sites is not reimbursable

New hire orientation is held prior to the first day of student services
