Regional Truck Driver (Dry Van) - (Based in California)
Route: From CA to OR, WA, UT or ID
Job Summary: We are seeking a safe and professional Class A CDL Driver to operate 53' dry van trailers on a dedicated regional . This position focuses on consistent mileage and "no-touch" freight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Transit: Safely transport non-perishable goods across state lines (CA, OR, WA, ID, UT).
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, specifically interstate hours-of-service (HOS) rules.
- Equipment Care: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tandem-axle sleeper trucks and dry van trailers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate ELD logs and verify Bills of Lading at all stops.
Requirements
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Age: Minimum 25 years old (required for interstate commerce).
- Experience: Most regional fleets prefer minimum 24 months of tractor-trailer experience.
- Physical: Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. California DMV (.gov)
- Base Pay: Typically
$0.50 – $0.55 per mile (CPM) depending on experience. W2 and biweekly pay
- Home Time: Weekly or bi-weekly resets (typically home every 7–10 days).
