We are seeking an experienced Lead Water Restoration Technician/Mitigation Manager to manage and perform water restoration services primarily for residential properties. You will lead the process from the initial visit to the home, explaining the process to the customer, estimating the scope of the work, getting the contract signed, performing the mitigation work, and documenting the whole process. As a leader, you will manage and teach other technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on providing excellent service to customers in their time of need in accordance with industry specifications and our established protocols;
- Respond to customer calls, assess damage, explain required restoration work to customer, and get a signed contract to begin work;
- Document the work with photos and notes as the job progresses.
- Manage projects and develop and supervise a team of restoration technicians as our team grows;
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters throughout the project, and ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction;
- Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck, warehouse and company equipment
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of water restoration experience preferred;
- Experience with mold, fire/smoke restoration preferred;
- IICRC certifications preferred;
- Experience in construction preferred;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Experience using Xactimate required;
- Great attitude, trustworthy, dependable, and pleasant personality;
- Be able to work unsupervised;
- Have a growth mentality to continuously learn and improve, and invest in your career growth;
- Ability to react quickly to changing situations;
- Be ready, willing and able to work and be available for overtime when needed;
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work;
- Willingness to undergo a background/driving check.
License/Certification:
- IICRC WRT and/or other certification preferred
Benefits:
- $40,000 to 90,000 per year(base salary, overtime, commissions/bonuses)
