Overview
We are seeking an extremely organized Administrative Assistant to provide weekly support to a visually impaired client. This role requires effective communication skills, takes initiative in follow-through, and is comfortable assisting with accessibility-related tasks such as reading documents aloud, navigating digital content, and ensuring information is clear and in accessible formats.

Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Communication Support
- Manage and organize email inboxes; flag priority messages and draft responses as needed.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and manage calendar updates.
- Make phone calls on behalf of the client (confirmations, inquiries, follow-ups)
- Assist with task tracking, reminders, and follow-through on outstanding items.
Document & Accessibility Support
- Read documents aloud or summarize written content clearly and accurately.
- Convert documents into accessible formats (e.g., large print, audio summaries, structured text)
- Assist with navigating websites, forms, and digital platforms.
- Prepare simple reports, notes, and written summaries.
Operational Support
- Organize files, maintain digital folders, and ensure information is easy to locate.
- Support personal or professional projects with research, data entry, or coordination.
- Communicate with service providers, vendors, or partners on the client’s behalf.
- Provide gentle accountability and check-ins to ensure tasks stay on track!
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Meticulous.
- Ability to explain information clearly and patiently.
- Comfortable reading documents aloud and assisting with digital navigation.
- Proficiency with email, calendars, and basic productivity tools.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience supporting individuals with visual impairments (not required but highly valued).
- Background in administrative assistance, executive support, or personal assistance.
- Familiarity with accessibility tools (screen readers, magnification tools, OCR apps).
- Experience working remotely and managing tasks independently.

Compensation
Hourly rate based on experience.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
