Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and assistance throughout their visit
- Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer operations with integrity
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information about store merchandise to enhance guest engagement
- Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and ensuring the store remains organized and inviting
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a helpful attitude
- Answer guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, directing calls or providing information as needed
- Support supervising staff in training new team members and maintaining high standards of service excellence
Skills
- Proven experience operating POS systems, cash registers, and handling retail transactions efficiently
- Strong supervising experience or ability to assist in overseeing daily store operations when needed
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for sales totals, discounts, and change calculations
- Excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities (if applicable), ensuring clear interaction with diverse guests
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and inventory management practices
- Skilled in upselling products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue
- Demonstrated proficiency in cashiering, cash handling, cash drawer management, and basic math skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform stocking duties efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized store environment
