Job Title: Active/Retired LEO Security Officer - Rover
Job Type: Part Time
Pay Range: $40.00 per hour
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a professional and observant LEO Security Officer to maintain a visible security presence. This position involves active foot patrols, theft deterrence, escorting individuals off site, and other tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a high-visibility presence throughout areas to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.

Conduct routine foot patrols inside and around the site to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.

Respond to incidents involving theft, trespassing, or disturbances in a professional and appropriate manner.

Communicate regularly with store employees, property management, and other on-site personnel to exchange updates and receive direction.

Provide customer service as needed, including offering directions or answering basic inquiries while maintaining security priorities.

Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) is required.

Exposed Firearm Permit Required.

Active or Retired Police ID Required.

High school diploma or GED.

Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain alert and professional in a retail environment.

Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours).

Ability to move quickly in response to incidents.

May be required to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
Work Environment:

Work performed primarily indoors/outdoors

Interaction with the general public, store employees, and security team members is frequent.

Must maintain a professional demeanor in high-traffic, high-pressure situations.
