We are recruiting for a Manual Machine Operator to join our experienced team in the production of titanium bicycle frames. You will be operating Bridgeport type mills, Horizontal Mills, and small engine lathes.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating manual, numerically controlled, and computerized machine shop equipment
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, process sheets, and sketches
- Ability to perform tasks such as cutting and shaping metal to precision dimensions
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in machining operations
- Basic mathematical and calculation skills
- Ability to follow instructions and perform setup, tool adjustments, and minor equipment repairs
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members
Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Perform routine and semi-routine assignment planning, layout, setup, operation, and tool adjustments for various types of machine shop equipment
- Carrying out the operation of manual Lathes, Mills and Grinders
- Blueprint Interpretation: Work from blueprints, process sheets, sketches, and verbal instructions to perform production tasks, including cutting and shaping metal to precision dimensions
- Quality Assurance: Check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances to ensure parts meet required quality standards
