Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on food service, hospitality, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in diverse settings
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for accurate cashiering, billing, and transaction processing
