A Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This is an overnight position. HOURS: 11PM - 7AM
What will I be doing?
As Night Auditor, you would be responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including, but not limited to, outlets in Rooms and Food and Beverage
- Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists
- Undertake a review of end-of-day takings against logged reports
- Edit all reports to ensure accuracy and full completion
- Investigate any anomalies found between daily reports and takings
Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and or ability required for this position.
- Must have prior Front Desk Experience.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and some college preferred.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must have solid computer skills to include core Microsoft applications and any additional brand specific applications as needed.
- Must have sold math skills.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
