Position Overview
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights/Days
Schedule: 3x12s
Unit: Emergency Department
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4–1:5 (up to 1:6 in surge)
Charting: Meditech
No local travelers (must live 30+ miles away)
Every other weekend required
Floating required within scope
Limited schedule flexibility (block scheduling case-by-case)
Minimum Requirements
Active RN License (FL or Compact)
2.5+ years ED experience (required)
1 year neuro/stroke experience
At least 2 prior travel assignments
Experience with high-acuity / resuscitation patients
Certifications Required:
ACLS (AHA)
BLS
NIHSS
PALS
TNCC (preferred)
