Overview: The QA Department at AHV is present throughout the company's production of high-reliability military and industrial power supplies. From incoming inspection through myriad production processes to the final out-the-door inspection, the Quality Department is omnipresent, overseeing and ensuring that the products being shipped meet all listed and approved criteria.
The QA Manager reports directly to the President of AHV.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Involved in specifications:
a) Review and sign off on quality provisions in all component vendor PO’s.
b) Review and sign-off of all quality provisions on customer product PO’s.
c) Review and sign off on all Work Authorizations for new jobs.
d) Review and sign-off on all travelers, test procedures, checklists, Test Data Sheets,
potting procedures, labeling, shipping procedures, and mechanisms.
2. Manage the following sections within the company and the people within these sections:
a) Incoming Inspection
b) Electrical Test
c) Electrical Burn-In
d) Calibration
e) Material Review Board (for non-conforming material)
3. Control all customer returns (RMAs) and interface with Engineering and Production to take corrective actions when necessary.
4. Perform inspection qualification visits to potential vendors
5. Auditing and workmanship training.
6. Be ready to travel to existing or potential customers to support the sales department.
7. Help resolve production bottlenecks.
8. Manage the design of electrical test fixtures.
9. Be cognizant of all required aspects of ISO-9001 to maintain and pass the company’s yearly inspection to this standard.
10. Be able to interface with all government agencies when visiting AHV and
Complete the required paperwork, forms, and requests that are asked of such entities.
11. Be able to communicate verbally in English to all members of the AHV staff and understand
without translation all communications to yourself.
12. Ensure compliance with AHV ESD standards.
13. Periodic chemical checks.
14. Generate weekly inspection charts showing results of inspections.
15. Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to physically drive an automobile.
16. Be able to walk to any department within the company floorplan, including up flights
of stairs without assistance.
17. Be available for work at the facility during the company's official operating times.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
