A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a professional who specializes in behavior analysis. We are looking for excellent BCBAs to join our team and assess, design, implement, and evaluate behavioral interventions for individuals with behavioral challenges, such as those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities.
Specifically, a BCBA is responsible for:
- Conducting Assessments: BCBAs use various assessment tools to identify the factors contributing to the individual’s behavior challenges and determine the most appropriate interventions.
- Developing Behavior Intervention Plans: BCBA design and develop individualized behavior plans to address the specific needs of the individuals and help them achieve their goals.
- Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans: BCBAs provide guidance and support to parents, caregivers, and other professionals on effectively implementing the behavior intervention plan.
- Monitoring Progress: BCBAs evaluate the effectiveness of the behavior intervention plan by monitoring the individual’s progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Providing Training: BCBAs provide training to parents, caregivers, and other professionals on the principles of behavior analysis and how to implement behavioral interventions.
