Monday- Thursday
7:00-3:00
Responsibilities
- Preparing morning and afternoon snack for each classroom
- Preparing and serving lunch for the day
- Prepping what you can for the upcoming days ahead
- washing, drying and Sanitizing the dishes
- Keeping the kitchen and appliance clean and organizied
- Following ServeSafe guidelines when preping, cooking and serving food
- stocking all items of paper goods and foods needed for the daycare and kitchen.
Experience
- Proven ability to plan and prepare meals in a kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to maintain confidentiality.
Skills
- Experience with food preparation.
- Strong knowledge of food handling and dietary department procedures.
- Ability to use a knife safely and effectively.
- Willingness to help with a variety of tasks.
- Experience working in a kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals and snacks.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.75 - $15.00 per hour
