D Garden Caribbean Bar & Grill is looking for a reliable, passionate, and hardworking Line Cook to join our growing kitchen team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in preparing high-quality food, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
- Work efficiently during high-volume service
- Follow food safety and kitchen procedures
- Assist with prep, stocking, and closing duties
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of line cook experience preferred
- Experience with Caribbean cuisine is a plus
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- NYC Food Handler Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
