Job Summary:
At Qualheim's True Value, our pet department associates are responsible for providing excellent customer service while maintaining a well-stocked and organized pet department. This role also includes caring for small animals and assisting customers with pet food, supplies, and product recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Feeding and care for all animals.
- Keeping animal cages and pet room clean.
- Providing customers with reliable knowledge on the animals of interest.
- Assist customers in finding the product that best suits their needs.
- Assist with checkout processes as needed.
- Stocking merchandise as well as contributing to inventory processes.

Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Have a general understanding of small animals and a willingness to continually expand knowledge.
- Comfortability working with small animals.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Able to lift 50+lbs regularly to keep merchandise stocked.
- Team player with a willingness to contribute wherever needed.
