Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Part-Time AI Consultant to help organizations successfully evaluate, implement, and govern Artificial Intelligence technologies. This role combines client consulting, AI education and training, solution design, vendor coordination, and policy development. The ideal candidate is passionate about AI, communicates technical concepts clearly to business audiences, and stays current with emerging AI platforms and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with prospective and existing clients regarding AI strategy, implementation, and business use cases.
- Assess organizational readiness for AI adoption and recommend practical solutions.
- Advise clients on AI security, governance, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Develop and implement AI security recommendations to help organizations safely deploy AI technologies.
- Conduct live AI training sessions via video conference for business users and executives.
- Provide hands-on instruction for leading AI platforms, including ChatGPT, CoPilot, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok
- Additional AI tools as appropriate
- Create customized AI training materials, presentations, and reference guides.
- Prepare product recommendations, pricing proposals, and client quotations for AI software and hardware solutions.
- Coordinate with AI hardware and software vendors to identify appropriate solutions for client needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations.
- Develop AI Acceptable Use Policies (AUPs), governance documentation, and organizational AI guidelines.
- Provide ongoing advisory support to clients regarding AI technologies, best practices, and emerging trends.
- Stay current on developments in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI security, compliance, and productivity tools.
Qualifications:
- Experience consulting with business clients on technology or AI initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of Generative AI platforms, including ChatGPT, CoPilot Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Grok.
- Understanding of AI governance, data privacy, cybersecurity, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience delivering professional presentations and virtual training.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into practical business solutions.
- Experience preparing proposals, quotations, and solution recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client engagements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IT consulting, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or digital transformation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Google Workspace AI, and enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience developing organizational policies and governance documentation.
- Knowledge of AI compliance frameworks and risk management.
- Professional certifications related to AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or project management are a plus.

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and consulting expertise.
