Underground Lineman
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lineperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and construction, with the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently. This role involves working on various projects, electrical installations, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. The Lineperson will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities

Operate excavators and other equipment for underground line work safely and efficiently.

Maintain safe access to power lines.

Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Work on construction sites, collaborating with team members to complete projects on time.

Conduct low voltage wiring tasks as required for various projects.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience

Proven experience as an underground lineman or in a similar role is preferred.

Familiarity with IT infrastructure and low voltage systems is a plus.

Experience operating excavators.

Ability to perform physical tasks associated with line work.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
