We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthotic Fitter to join our team in Tucson, AZ. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience and a strong background in patient care, with expertise in fitting Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and orthoses devices. This role requires a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate and effective patient treatment.
- Fit and adjust orthotic devices and DME to meet individual patient needs.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate orthotic solutions.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide patient education on the use and care of orthotic devices.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards.
- Ensure all devices meet quality and safety standards.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, employees, and the public.
- Clinical experience in orthotics, prosthetics, or related medical fields.
- Experience fitting Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or orthotic devices.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, patients, employees, and the public.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant clinical training or certification in orthotics or related healthcare field preferred. Prior experience in a medical or clinical setting involving DME or orthotic fitting is highly desirable.
