Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items by highlighting specials and recommending pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Manage table settings, clear dishes, bussing tables promptly, and assist with sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, dietary restrictions, and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding food preparation and handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of fine dining service standards or nightclub hospitality experience is a bonus
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations confidently
