Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks to support residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will contribute to building, repairing, and restoring structures with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, and woodworking machines safely and effectively.
- Assist in framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, siding, roofing, and flooring installation.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks and assist with concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration.
- Fabricate and assemble components using CNC machinery or manual techniques to meet project specifications.
- Support restoration projects including mold remediation, water damage repair, and general renovation tasks.
- Ensure construction site safety by adhering to power tool safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing tools, and woodworking machines.
- Experience in residential carpentry including trim work, fixture installation, cabinetry, door hanging, siding, and flooring.
- Familiarity with construction plans related to plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, roofing, and drywall installation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique; experience with scaffolding or working at heights is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction site safety standards including power tool safety and schematics comprehension.
- Background in restoration industry practices such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is advantageous.

Pay: $25.80 - $31.07 per hour
