Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping, and hospitality with a strong focus on maintaining cleanliness in various settings. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness. A background in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Flip rooms that have checked out in a timely matter to prepare for incoming guests.
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with laundry services as needed, ensuring linens are clean and properly stored.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or hospitality preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required during cleaning tasks.
