IMMEDIATE TEACHING POSITION. We are seeking a passionate and energetic Junior Kindergarten Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on early childhood education, literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management.
- Provide classroom management to support children's developmental milestones.
- Use child development instruction techniques to tailor activities that meet individual needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress updates, behavioral observations, and upcoming activities.
- Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure child welfare standards are consistently met.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing where applicable to monitor student growth and inform lesson planning.
- Foster inclusive learning experiences by integrating childhood development best practices and supporting children with diverse needs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to preschool teaching, classroom experience, and early childhood education trends.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and child welfare practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood development or preschool teaching are required.
- Strong communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork within the educational community.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math skills, motor activities, and social-emotional learning strategies.
- Knowledge of mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all students.
