Renton Coffee Stand Manager
Rainier Valley Coffee is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Stand Manager to lead daily operations at one of our drive-thru coffee stands. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, coffee industry experience, and the ability to manage inventory, ordering, scheduling, and team development while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of barista and management experience
- Valid Food Handler's Permit
- Valid Driver's License
- Hands-on experience operating commercial espresso equipment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong memory and attention to detail, including customer preferences and drink recipes
- Ability to assess customer needs and make personalized recommendations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Relevant management or coffee industry training preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage: $20.00 per hour

Primary ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve high-quality hot and cold beverages according to company recipes and standards
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions regarding ingredients and products
- Accurately take customer orders while paying close attention to preferences and modifications
- Process cash and credit card transactions
Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead, motivate, and support team members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency
- Assist with employee training, coaching, and development
- Communicate daily operational needs, customer feedback, promotions, and expectations to staff
- Work closely with the Assistant Manager to ensure smooth daily operations
- Fill in for shifts when necessary to maintain business needs
Inventory & Ordering
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records
- Place weekly product and supply orders to ensure adequate stock levels
- Manage product rotation and ensure compliance with FIFO practices
- Minimize waste and maintain cost-effective inventory control
- Stock products and supplies as needed throughout the day
Administrative & Facility Management
- Assist with employee scheduling and shift coverage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, health regulations, and safety standards
- Identify and report maintenance issues promptly
- Complete required reports and operational tasks accurately and on time
