We are a small fast-casual restaurant in Duluth looking for a dependable , motivated Front-of-House team member who is comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the FOH during a shift. Restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and is eager to learn.
Unlike a large restaurant where FOH duties are divided among several employees, this is a hands-on position where one person is responsible for keeping the front-of-house operation running smoothly during the shift.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Taking POS, phone and online orders accurately
- Preparing drinks and packing orders
- Coordinating orders with the kitchen
- Maintaining the dining and front counter areas
- Restocking FOH supplies
- Handling customer questions and concerns
- Keeping the FOH clean and organized throughout the shift
- Completing opening and closing responsibilities
- Identifying what needs to be done without waiting for constant direction
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or fast-casual experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple responsibilities
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized and able to stay clam during busy periods
- Takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and ownership of the shift
- Looking for stable, long-term employment
- Full-time availability preferred
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
