American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of current SICU experience and a minimum of 2 prior travel assignments.

Surgical ICU (SICU) setting within a hospital environment
-
Patient population includes trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, orthopedic-spine, oncology, and post-surgical cases involving general surgery and Ortho/Neuro Spine procedures
-
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

13-week contract
-
Weekend requirement: 3 out of every 6 weekends per 6-week schedule

Holiday coverage required as needed

Floating required to areas of like skill set, including other ICUs and IMCs

EMR: Epic (required)
-
Active MD or compact RN license currently in hand
-
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; Critical Care Certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of current Surgical ICU experience required
-
At least 2 prior travel assignments required

Strong Level II Trauma Center SICU experience required
-
Experience at a comparable large facility (500+ bed count) required

Epic EMR experience required

Trauma course preferred

SSN and DOB required for consideration

1 professional reference required for consideration

Provide critical care nursing to a diverse surgical and trauma patient population

Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
